In the 1977 Mini Transat sailing race, Bob Salmon raced a modified Anderson 22 named Anderson Affair and finished in 15th place. The race, which was the inaugural edition of the Mini Transat, featured many sailors on small boats, including several models designed by Oliver Lee.
